Hassan Norouzi, Deputy Chairman of the Judiciary and Legal Commission of IR Majlis criticized the title of child-marriage for the marriage of 13- or 14-year-old girls, saying "Child marriage must be use when it is about a 9- 10-year-old wife. 13- or 14-year-old girl is not a child!"
