Sending a letter from prison and asking for help to avoid the death sentence

Majid Kazemi, Saleh Mirhashemi, and Saeed Ya'qoubi, who were sentenced to execution in the joint case known as #EsfahanHouse, wrote a plea for help addressed to the Iranian people in a short letter composed inside the prison prior to their execution. The letter stated:

"We humbly implore our beloved compatriots and fellow citizens to prevent our execution. We are in desperate need of your assistance and support. We are the children of Iran."
