Tensions between Yemeni Houthi rebels and the Islamic Republic

Houthi rebels, backed by the Islamic Republic, have demanded that Hassan Irloo, the Islamic Republic's ambassador to Yemen, a member of the US-sanctioned IRGC who played a significant role in planning attacks on Saudi Arabia, and the repression and killing of the Yemeni people, return to Tehran.
