Amirhossein Trowal Eiman, one of the detainees of Iran's national uprising, tragically passed away

Amirhossein Trowal Eiman, one of the detainees of Iran's national uprising, tragically passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, the 26th of Ordibehesht (May), just a few days after being released. His untimely death was caused by a heart attack.

Expressing his sorrow, Amirhossein Trowal's defense attorney shared on Twitter: "Amirhossein Trowal Eiman, my client and a detainee from the recent protests, were granted amnesty and released last week after approximately 8 months of detention. Unfortunately, Amirhossein passed away a few days later due to a heart attack while sleeping. My heart grieves for our homeland."

Amirhossein Trowal Eiman was arrested at his residence in Aliabad, Tehran, in October of the previous year during Iran's national uprising by the security forces of the Islamic Republic. Following several days of interrogation, he was transferred to Fashafouyeh Prison. In December of the same year, he faced trial on charges of "armed struggle."

The loss of lives immediately after the release of individuals detained during Iran's national uprising is a tragic reality that has affected several individuals.
