On 23 July 2022 security forces attacked the protest of "veterans" of the Iraq-Iran war in front of the Majlis of Islamic Republic & arrested dozens of people.
This rally was held in protest against the ignorance of the officials of the martyrs' Foundation in the payment of retirement bonuses.
