Abbas Darys' defense lawyer announced the confirmation of his death sentence by Branch 39 of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic, disregarding the existing flaws in the case.
Abbas Darys was arrested in December 2019 by the security forces of the Islamic Republic for participating in the November 2019 protests. After a period of time, he was sentenced to death by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Mahshahr on charges of "waging war."
