Two protesting rappers were arrested after the release of a music video

Vafa Ahmadpour and Danial Moghadam, two protest rap singers, were detained after releasing a music video titled "Ready" which addresses oppression and turmoil in Iran.

Vafa Ahmadpour has been previously detained as well. He was arrested at his private residence.

Danial Moghadam also has a history of releasing several other songs with social and protest themes.
