ABOLFAZL KHORRAN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO AN ADDITIONAL ONE YEAR IN PRISON AND 74 LASHES

Abolfazl Khorran, a monarchist teacher who is serving a five-year sentence in Arak Prison, has been sentenced in a new case to one year in prison and 74 lashes on the charge of “disturbing the public order of the prison.” This new case was opened against him for going on a hunger strike in protest against the execution of young people in Iran.

Mr. Khorran is in poor physical condition, and despite suffering from severe ear pain that has caused dizziness and hearing loss, he is still being denied medical leave for treatment.
