AHMAD KHOSRAVANI, A BASKETBALL PLAYER AND A STUDENT AT ARYAMEHR UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (SHARIF), WAS KILLED BY THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC DURING THE PROTESTS IN TEHRAN

Based on information received, Ahmad Khosravani, a 21-year-old basketball player and a student at Sharif University of Technology, was shot and killed by direct fire from Islamic Republic security forces on Thursday, January 8th, during the nationwide uprising.


Ahmad Khosravani, whose name is now remembered with honor, was one of the prominent figures in Tehran’s 3x3 basketball scene and was shot while he was out on the street.


He was a member of the “Farzan Shemiran” 3x3 basketball team, which won the Tehran championship earlier this year. In the same year, he was also named the Best Player of the Tehran Adult League.
