According to received reports, Ali Fahim, a 23-year-old also known as Arian, was arrested on January 9th, 2026, in Tehran’s Nezamabad neighborhood. Sources close to the family say they have been pressured to remain silent about his case.

The family recently learned that one of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court branches, presided over by Judge Abolqasem Salavati, issued a death sentence against him last week without the presence of his chosen lawyer. No official details about the charges or legal proceedings have been made public.

Ali Fahim's name (Arian) has also appeared on lists circulated by human rights groups warning of the risk of harsh sentences, including executions, against protest detainees.
