AT LEAST 45 CITIZENS ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE WAR ACROSS SEVERAL PROVINCES

Based on received information, domestic media have reported the arrest of at least 45 citizens across various provinces, including 35 in Lorestan, 6 in East Azerbaijan, 3 in Yazd, and 1 in Hamedan.
In the published reports, the reasons for these arrests have been cited as “cooperation with foreign media,” “creating psychological insecurity,” and “links with groups opposed to the regime.”
At the same time, a video of a forced confession by one of the detainees has been released, though the conditions under which it was recorded remain unclear, raising concerns about the arrest procedures and the situation of these citizens.
