DEATH SENTENCES FOR HADI AND FAZLOLLAH NIKBAKHT; MOHAMMAD NIKBAKHT STILL IN LEGAL LIMBO

According to reports, Hadi Nikbakht and Fazlollah Nikbakht, two brothers from Golpayegan, have been sentenced to death on the charge of “corruption on earth”.
Reports indicate that their family claims the judge had previously informed them that the sentence would be between one and five years in prison. However, after intervention by security agencies and local officials, the final verdict was changed to execution.
Meanwhile, their brother Mohammad Nikbakht, a Christian convert, has been held in legal limbo since March 2026 at Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan, with no clarity on his case.
The three Nikbakht brothers have repeatedly faced arrest and judicial persecution in recent years due to their political and social activities. Concerns about their future, especially that of Hadi and Fazlollah, have grown significantly.
