Based on received information, Hadi Gharahsouran, a well-known swimming coach and an influential sports figure in the city of Tabriz, was arrested on January 13th, 2026, after security agents raided the sports club where he worked.
According to people close to him, the agents entered the club without providing a clear explanation and took him away. Since his arrest, Hadi Gharahsouran’s family has been living in severe distress and, due to pressure and repeated promises of his release, has refrained from speaking publicly.
