Mohammad Nouri, a 17-year-old from Qom, was killed during the popular uprising in the city. He was shot directly by the Islamic Republic’s security forces in Tohid Square while the area was crowded with protesters.

According to his close contacts, the forces attacked the crowd, and Mohammad was shot from behind, falling to the ground. Friends alerted his family, and despite being unconscious, his mother insisted on taking him to a nearby clinic. He died from a gunshot wound to the lung.
After his death, the family was pressured to label him as a “Basiji” or to conduct the burial quietly. Ultimately, Mohammad Nouri was buried on Sunday without any public ceremony.
