Protest by the steel and mining sectors

Retirees from the steel and mining sectors gathered in front of the Islamic Republic’s parliament building to protest their deteriorating living conditions and the government’s persistent neglect of their demands.

Chanting slogans and marching outside the parliament, the retirees voiced frustration over unpaid pensions, shrinking purchasing power due to inflation, and the lack of meaningful government action to address their grievances.
