Videos shared from various parts of Tehran showed protest gatherings by bazaar merchants and shopkeepers, reacting to the continued rise in the dollar’s value and the ongoing market downturn.
Retired teachers and Social Security pensioners held a protest rally.
Their chants were blunt and unmistakable:
“No to executions, no, no, no!”
“Cry out, cry out, against all this injustice!”
This is the voice of a generation that spent its life working,
and now stands against poverty, injustice, and repression.

Students from the Vanak, Seyed Khandan, and Mirdamad campuses protested the sharp decline in the quality of cafeteria food.
This protest is not just about food;
it is a cry against disregard for students’ dignity and rights.
When officials refuse to be accountable,
even the students’ dining table turns into a site of protest.
Social Security retirees in Shush held a protest despite heavy rain and harsh weather conditions.
Their message was clear: the promises made by Mr. Pezeshkian and other officials have meant nothing but lies and deception for retirees.
Retirees from Social Security, the civil service, and the telecommunications sector took to the streets, holding protests and marches to voice their discontent. Passing citizens also showed solidarity with the protesters by honking their car horns continuously.
The protesters say rising prices and inflation have pushed people’s lives to the brink of collapse.
Employees of the State Welfare Organization held protest gatherings in Behbahan, Shiraz, and Varzesh.
The reason is clear: severe economic pressure, low wages, and the violation of their legal rights.
These protests are not about luxury demands;
They are a cry for justice from employees crushed under neglect, discrimination, and injustice.
Social Security and cultural retirees in Tehran gathered in front of the Social Security Organization and took to the streets
not for perks, but for the rights trampled from their lives.
Parliament and government are two blades of the same scissors;
Both cut against retirees.
Years of work, paying insurance, and serving,
And today, their share is poverty, humiliation, and empty promises.
Bakers in Shiraz gathered in front of the Bakers’ Union to strike in protest of unpaid subsidies over the past seven months.
At the same time, several bakeries across the city were closed.
