The security forces of the Islamic Republic have refused to hand over the body of Abol Korkor to his family, imposing strict conditions for its release. Among these conditions are a ban on chanting protest slogans during the burial ceremony and a prohibition on the presence of any reciter or singer at the cemetery.
Abol Korkor, a protester from Iran’s national uprising, ended his life after security forces raided his residence. However, the Khuzestan Provincial Security Council has so far withheld his body, further intensifying tensions surrounding his death.
