On Sunday, December 29, merchants from Tehran’s Sepahsalar Bazaar, Mellat Mall, and Fabric Market took to the streets in protest. Their strike was fueled by mounting frustrations over skyrocketing inflation, soaring prices, and repeated power outages disrupting their livelihoods.
