The global Baha'i community stated: "Officials of the Islamic Republic have removed the signs on the graves and leveled them with bulldozers and loaders to demolish their shapes."

The statement emphasizes: "Desecrating graves is a permanent facet of Iran's 45-year campaign to systematically oppress Baha'is, which has manifested through years of harassment and persecution, particularly regarding cemeteries.
