The national flag featuring the emblem of 'Lion and Sun' was raised in front of the bridge

On the anniversary of the opening of the historic Veresk Bridge, the national flag featuring the emblem of 'Lion and Sun' was raised in front of the bridge.

The Veresk Bridge, situated in the village of Veresk in Savadkuh County, was inaugurated by Reza Shah on May 6, 1936, and serves as a vital link between the national railway of Tehran and the northern regions.

During World War II, the Veresk Bridge was christened as the 'Bridge of Victory' by Winston Churchill, the former Prime Minister of England.
