AN IRGC MEMBER KILLED HIS WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN

According to information received, Mohammad Mohammadi, 56, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stationed in Dehloran, Ilam Province, killed his wife, Fereshteh Yousefzadeh, 38, and their three children: Roza, 14, and nine-year-old twins Radbin and Hadis, using a firearm before taking his own life.

Reports indicate that Mohammadi and his wife had disagreements over Roza, Fereshteh’s daughter from a previous marriage. Fereshteh had reportedly left the family home with her three children some time earlier. According to reports, they were shot when they returned to the house to collect their personal belongings.

According to shared information, the Kalashnikov rifle used in the killings was in Mohammadi’s possession and was reportedly connected to his service in the IRGC. No further details have been shared so far regarding the judicial investigation or how the weapon was stored and secured.
