Yesterday marked the inauspicious anniversary of the doomed revolution of 1979. Anti-Islamic slogans and chants reverberated throughout the country, with the slogan "God bless Reza Shah's soul" echoing particularly strongly in the Ekbatan neighborhood of Tehran.
