Hamid Ghasempour, an eye injury victim from the protests in Farsan, was arrested at his workplace in Beldaji by intelligence agents. After his arrest, officers confiscated security cameras at his workplace and towed away his personal vehicle.

At the same time, security forces raided the Mr. Ghasempour family home in Farsan, taking several books and a framed photo. His family has been without any news of his whereabouts for four days, and their efforts to get information have so far been unsuccessful.
During the protests, Mr. Ghasempour lost vision in one eye after being shot with a pellet gun from behind. Twenty-three pellets remain lodged in his head, but due to surgical risks, they cannot be removed. He underwent lengthy medical treatment and, according to close sources, spent three months in a coma. Until last year, his photo was still included among those of “the disappeared.”
