MOHSEN PARISH WAS SENTENCED TO PRISON AND ADDITIONAL PUNISHMENTS

Mohsen Parish, a monarchist political prisoner held at Karaj Central Prison, has been sentenced by Branch Two of the Karaj Revolutionary Court to three years in prison along with a set of supplementary punishments.

In addition to the prison term, he has been banned from leaving the country for two years, barred from joining social groups or organizations for two years, and deprived of all government and public-sector employment and services for two years.

The sentence was issued on charges of ‘propaganda against the regime’ and ‘insulting Khamenei.’

Mr. Parish has previously faced heightened restrictions and pressure during his detention, including denial of phone calls and punitive transfers.”
