Scenes of remarkable bravery

According to videos received from Shahi (Qaemshahr) in Mazandaran Province, on the evening of Thursday, January 8th, scenes of remarkable bravery and fearless defiance by the city’s pro-monarchy activists against the oppressive forces of the Islamic Republic were captured.

In the footage, security forces attempt to disperse the people with continuous gunfire and tear gas, yet citizens repeatedly rush at them empty-handed, forcing the troops to retreat.

These videos vividly showcase the street-level resistance of the people during the national uprising and the inability of the security forces to crush the protesters’ determination.
