Strike of nurses, administrative and service staff at Aria Hospital in Ahvaz

Nurses, administrative employees, and service staff at Arya Hospital in Ahvaz went on strike and held a protest against salary reductions imposed by hospital management.

According to reports, hospital officials deducted a portion of employees' wages to fund New Year's bonuses. They have promised that salaries will return to their previous levels in the new year, but this decision has sparked outrage among workers who are already struggling with economic hardships.

Protesters emphasized that reducing their wages without prior consultation is unfair and places an additional burden on healthcare workers who have dedicated themselves to patient care. They are demanding immediate payment of the deducted amounts and assurances that similar decisions will not be repeated in the future.
