A FINAL SHOT TO THE FOREHEAD, A BULLET TO THE CROWN THE STORY OF THE MURDER OF FARID RAMEZANI IN ARIASHAHR

According to received information, Farid Ramezani, born in 1996, was killed on the evening of Thursday, January 8th, during the nationwide uprising in Tehran, in the Ariashahr neighborhood, after being directly shot by Islamic Republic suppression forces.
Eyewitnesses say that around 10 p.m., Farid Ramezani was first wounded by gunfire from security forces and fell to the ground. When agents reached him, they executed him with a final shot to the forehead. Witnesses add that after he was killed, the agents took his mobile phone and necklace, and after noticing a tattoo of the imperial crown on the finger of his right hand, they shot that hand as well, even though he was already dead.
Based on the same reports, Farid Ramezani’s family has been under severe security pressure and was prevented from holding a free ceremony or burying him in his ancestral village. His body was finally buried on Sunday, January 18th, under heavy security conditions. It is said that government forces demanded money from the family for each bullet fired in order to hand over the body and forbade any filming of the burial.
