ARREST OF 8 ADMINISTRATORS OF A TELEGRAM CHANNEL IN MAZANDARAN

Abbas Pouriani, Chief Justice of Mazandaran Province, announced that eight administrators of a Telegram channel called “Shekar-e Mozdoor” have been arrested on charges of “participating in forming and running a network to disrupt national security” and “propaganda against the system.” According to the judiciary of the Islamic Republic, they were allegedly operating as part of an “organized network.”

So far, no information about the identities of these individuals has been released.
