At a ceremony commemorating the birthday of Mohsen Mohammadi Kochaksaraei, who was killed by the forces of the Islamic Republic last year, attendees chanted the Iranian national anthem, 'Ey Iran.' However, the ceremony encountered opposition from the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which prompted Kochaksaraei's family to hold the event at their home, where fellow citizens were in attendance.
Kochaksaraei, a 37-year-old father, was fatally shot by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the national uprising in September of last year in the city of Qaemshahr.
