KOUSHAN PIRZADEH HAS REPORTEDLY BEEN BEATEN WHILE HELD IN SOLITARY CONFINEMENT

Reports have surfaced on social media about the condition of Koushan Pirzadeh, a bodybuilder and monarchist political prisoner. According to these accounts, after twelve days of no contact, he managed a brief phone call from solitary confinement in Evin Prison, saying that in late October, in protest against the inhumane prison conditions, he injured his head and face and was taken to the infirmary. However, following an unintended altercation with Evin’s deputy intelligence officer, he was met with severe violence instead of medical care and was thrown into solitary confinement.

Sources say he was brutally beaten there, kept naked for hours, insulted, and subjected to degrading treatment. Guards reportedly demanded that he kiss their feet as a form of humiliation.
