Victims of the “Unique Finance” scheme gathered in protest as their case, involving more than 30,000 plaintiffs, remains trapped in delays and influence. Complainants say that for three years, the investigation at Tehran’s District 31 Prosecutor’s Office has been stalled, with constant changes of judicial branches pushing the process back for months.

A group of Social Security retirees in Ahvaz held a rally and marched in protest against poor living conditions and government neglect of their demands. Chanting slogans such as “Enough with oppression, our tables are empty” and “The government betrays, the parliament supports,” the retirees called for a real increase in pensions and full implementation of the legal commitments.

Retired steelworkers gathered and marched in Isfahan to protest the transfer of the Steel Pension Fund to the National Retirement Fund, as well as the sharp decline in their pensions and ongoing issues with healthcare and insurance coverage.

The demonstrators criticized rising prices, declining purchasing power, and the erosion of their rights and benefits, demanding immediate attention to retirees’ demands and an end to existing discrimination.

The funeral and burial of the late Omid Sarlak took place at Akbar Ali Cemetery in Aligudarz, attended by a large crowd. Participants chanted anti-government slogans and directed their protests at Ali Khamenei.

In one of their largest labor gatherings yet, contract and outsourced oil industry workers rallied in front of the Presidential Office in Tehran. Over a thousand company and contract employees gathered in Pasteur Square, protesting the government’s broken promises on removing contractors, securing permanent employment, and implementing equal pay.

Retired telecom workers in Isfahan gathered on Chaharbagh Bala Street, chanting slogans like “We built Telecom, the IRGC took it, we lost,” voicing their outrage over systemic corruption and the plundering of their rights.
