Protest front of the local electricity office

A group of residents in Anar, a desert city in Kerman province, gathered in front of the local electricity office to protest repeated and prolonged power outages.

In a video from the protest, one frustrated resident says: “Meat is 950,000 tomans a kilo and it’s going bad because there’s no electricity.”
