A group of telecommunications retirees in Shiraz gathered in front of the Fars Province Telecommunications building to hold a protest.


A group of residents of Khuzestan Province held a protest gathering in response to actions taken by various governmental bodies that have caused severe air pollution in the region.


Farmers in Mahdasht gathered to protest the poor quality of agricultural water. According to the farmers, after months of waiting for water to reach their fields, the water that finally arrives is so polluted that its surface is covered with a thick layer of foam and is practically unusable. Despite this, the cooperatives are selling this contaminated water to farmers at an hourly rate of 500,000 tomans.


A number of outsourced employees of the national electricity organization and various oil and gas companies from across the country gathered in front of the Islamic Republic parliament building.

They are demanding the implementation of the employment-status conversion plan and the removal of contracting intermediaries, a plan that was approved two years ago but has still not been carried out.


Welfare Organization employees held a protest in front of the Islamic Republic’s parliament building to object to their very low wages.


Thousands of contract workers in the oil sector gathered in front of the Islamic Republic Parliament building to protest their low wages.

A representative stated: “Parliament has approved it, the government is not implementing it.”

The government stated: “We are reviewing it; it takes time.”

Two full years have passed!

Workers are left with crushed wages, shattered lives, and an uncertain future while waiting.


Employees of the Fars Provincial Welfare Organization held a gathering in front of the Shiraz Governor’s Office to protest inadequate salaries, job discrimination, and severe economic pressure.

The protesters say that despite years of work experience and having specialized academic degrees, their monthly earnings do not cover even the most basic living expenses. According to the employees, the numerous promises made to improve their wages and reform the payment structure have so far not been fulfilled, and their economic situation continues to worsen steadily.
