Applicants for Iran’s National Housing project in Shiraz held a protest.

After four years of waiting and paying over 600 million tomans, they say they’re still without a home. Projects meant for delivery have stalled, one six-story building hasn’t gone past the third floor, yet applicants are now being asked for another 200 million tomans.

Retirees from the state sector, Social Security, telecom, and healthcare held a protest outside the Kermanshah Provincial Pension Fund, condemning economic hardship and officials’ disregard for their demands.

For the second consecutive day, workers at the Middle East Sugar Company continued their strike and protest over the ongoing neglect of their labor demands.

According to reports, the workers say they will keep protesting and striking until their workplace and union demands are met.

Nursing staff at Razi Hospital in Ahvaz held a protest over poor living conditions, wage issues, and cuts to healthcare benefits.

Citing mounting economic pressure and ignored demands, nurses chanted:

‘Our wages have vanished, our healthcare rights are slashed,’ and

‘Our work is priced in dollars, our pay is in rials.’

Employees of the Persepolis Petrochemical Company went on strike over economic hardship and unpaid dues.

According to reports, delayed salaries, unpaid bonuses, and postponed performance pay have placed severe financial pressure on workers. Protesters say repeated follow-ups have gone unanswered by management, fueling growing anger and continued strikes.

Livestock farmers in Joveyn County protested the failure to distribute animal feed and concentrates.

Farmers warn that the ongoing shortage is pushing their livelihoods to the brink, saying:

‘If farmers are destroyed today, people’s tables will be empty tomorrow.’

Protesters say the neglect of livestock feed supplies is threatening the entire production chain and food security, and demand urgent action from authorities.

Students living in the dormitories at Chamran University of Ahvaz launched a food strike to protest poor meal quality and reports of hair found in the food.

The students stressed that this isn’t just about food; it’s a protest against the disregard for students’ dignity and rights. They are calling for immediate action and transparent accountability from university officials over welfare services.

Users and investors of Cryptoland held a protest over years of uncertainty surrounding their frozen assets. Chanting ‘Prosecutor! Prosecutor! Give us our money back,’ they demanded accountability.

Protesters say nearly five years after their funds were blocked, the case remains stalled in the judiciary, with no clear answers, no timeline, and not a single cent returned.
