Asghar Jahangir, spokesperson for the judiciary, announced that following the arrest of 20 individuals by the Ministry of Intelligence, there will be “no leniency” toward those detained. He accused them of being “spy agents and Mossad supporters” arrested in Tehran and several other provinces.

These remarks come amid a sharp rise in executions in Iran after the ceasefire between Israel and the Islamic Republic. In most cases, trials have been held without fair legal procedures, and sentences have been swiftly carried out.
