Shakila Monfared, a pro-monarchy political defended herself against the charge of 'propaganda against the system' during the trial that took place on Saturday in Tehran Province Appeals Court before Judge Abbas Ali Hozan.

Shakila Monfared, previously sentenced to '15 months of imprisonment and exile' by the Islamic Revolutionary Court

She was sentenced in absentia by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, to fifteen months of punitive imprisonment,

two years of exile outside Tehran and neighboring provinces, two years of travel ban, two years of prohibition from joining social-political groups, and two years of prohibition from using smartphones.
