The Funeral of 2 young men in Hamedan

During the funeral of Mehdi Abaei and Alireza Karbasi turned into a powerful display of public outrage in Hamedan, as mourners chanted slogans against the Islamic Republic.

One of the main chants echoing through the crowd was: “Our enemy is right here — they lie and say it’s America!”

The two young men were shot and killed by Basij forces, who opened fire on their vehicle near Hamedan. The killings have ignited anger across the region, with calls for justice growing louder by the day.
