THE HEARTBREAKING DEATH OF TWO TEENAGERS DUE TO POWER OUTAGE AND HEAT

In Kavar, Fars province, 16-year-old Tara Younesi and 18-year-old Sadegh Khoshdell lost their lives after a power outage disabled cooling systems. Seeking relief from the intense heat, they went to a parking area and sat inside a car to use its air conditioning. However, with the vehicle running in an enclosed space, carbon monoxide filled the air, leading to their suffocation.

Emergency responders were unable to save them upon arrival. Their bodies were laid to rest in Jahrom.

This tragedy echoes a similar incident in Javanrud, where a young couple, Zaniar Moradi and Kimia Shamsi, also died from carbon monoxide poisoning while using a car’s air conditioning in a closed space.
