The Shamkhani family has long been involved in oil smuggling and sanctions evasion under the Islamic Republic.

Ali Shamkhani’s son, Hossein Shamkhani, runs a network of front companies in Dubai and China, siphoning the nation’s wealth.

Meanwhile, the regime kills young people like the late Hananeh Kia, who only wanted a better life and dared to protest.
