FATHER OF THE LATE VAHID DAMOUR SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT AND FINED

The Second Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Hamedan has sentenced Morteza Damur, the father of the late Vahid Damur, a victim of the national uprising, to six months and twenty days in prison, along with a fine. He was charged with “propaganda against the regime.”

Morteza Damur was arrested by agents of the Hamedan Intelligence Department at his family home in Karaj and was transferred to Hamedan Prison the following day.
His trial session was held via videoconference in early September. Damur is recognized as one of the prominent figures among the families
seeking justice for the victims of the November 2019 uprising.
