According to reports, Arvin Kheirkhah, a 20-year-old from Shahroud who was arrested during the January 2026 nationwide uprising, was executed today, Saturday, August 1, 2026.
In his final phone call with his family, Arvin mentioned, “Don’t let them forget me. We went for the freedom of our homeland, don’t let the path we took go silent.”
His execution comes amid ongoing concerns about the future of other detainees in the Shahroud case. According to reports, Javad Ajam, Morteza Zamani, Mehdi Ranger, Farshid Rahmani, Alireza Saghari, and Pouya Saghari are also at risk of imminent execution.
