THE POSSIBILITY OF A "MOHAREBEH"(WAGING WAR AGAINST GOD) SENTENCE BEING ISSUED FOR SALMAN NAZARHAGHIGHI

According to reports, Salman Nazarhaghighi, 45, a married fitness coach from Rasht, was severely wounded after being shot by Islamic Republic security forces and taken to hospital.

Sources say that while he was in the ICU and still in urgent need of medical care, security forces arrested him from the hospital and transferred him to Lakan Prison in Rasht.

His condition is described as critical, and his transfer to prison, where Lakan lacks adequate medical facilities, has raised serious concerns for his life. He is also reportedly facing the grave charge of “Moharebeh” (Waging war against God).

Salman is known in his neighborhood for his humility and willingness to help others. He had previously been arrested in 2023 for visiting the grave of the late Mahsa (Jina) Amini in Saqqez.
